ABOUT US
The Kidsclub Company Surrey (LTD) is owned and run by Louise Di Trana who has been managing this type of childcare since 1995, first in Oxshott and St. Andrew's school Cobham and for the last 22 years at Ashtead Youth Centre.
We currently run Breakfast and Afterschool clubs in Ashtead Youth Centre and in The Greville Primary School, Ashtead. We also run a Holiday club based in Ashtead Youth Centre,
Ashtead Kidsclub based in the Youth Centre, collects children from Barnett Wood School, St Giles, St Peters and West Ashtead.
Greville Kidsclub is open for children attending The Greville Primary School.
We have developed close links with the local schools and see it as our job to liaise with teachers and parents whenever necessary.
Louise obtained her Diploma in Playwork at Nescot College in 2004 and has a St. John Ambulance First Aid Certificate which is approved by the Pre School Learning Alliance. She is the Child Protection Liaison Officer and completed her full training for this in April 2006.
She has also attended many workshops for her profession, including; Managing Children's Behaviour, Health and Safety, Skills for Staff Supervision, Environmental & Outdoor Activities, Playwork Foundation, Take Ten for Play, and Effective Team Working.
She sees her training as an ongoing project and always strives to meet The National Standards as set out by Ofsted and regularly attends Out of School Network meetings and Early Years and Childcare Service conferences.
She has a close working relationship with her Early Years advisor who is a great source of support and advice when tackling anything new such as the recent application from a child with Down's Syndrome.

Child Safety
Other staff have a variety of training certificates including First Aid for children, Child Protection, Level2 Playwork, Level 3 Playwork, Level 3 in Early Years Care and Education, Level 3 Childminding.
The staff team consists of both male and female staff and sports coaches all with a wide variety of expertise and interests in children.
All staff will have to obtain a mandatory DBS (police) check and have fully comprehensive car insurance in order to transport children from those schools that are not within walking distance..

Ofsted report
Ofsted is the same regulatory board that inspect schools, however Childcare providers have a different set of National Standards which may obtained from Ofsted 0845 6014772.
In November 2018 Ashtead Kidsclub was inspected by Ofsted. We received an overall grade of “Outstanding". In January 2019 The Greville Kidsclub was inspected and also received a rating of "Outstanding".
